Adult Faith Enrichment
Coordinator: St. Joseph Parish - Bob Lamvik - [email protected] Mission Church of St. Vincent de Paul - Bob Lamvik - [email protected]Grow in your understanding and love of the Catholic faith through our learning sessions, offered regularly at least twice a year. Past sessions have explored topics such as the Eucharist, Mary, prayer, Catholic apologetics, and more.
Sessions are typically offered after Sunday Mass and one evening during the week, welcoming approximately 40 parishioners. Come learn through engaging videos, group discussions, and educational presentations in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Our next sessions will be held in October.Our next Sunday Group after Mass: October 11th, 18th & 25th.Our Tuesday Evening at 600 P.M. - October 13th, 20th & 27th.These sessions will be more discussion oriented than video. We will still have both, but prior classes have been more video.We will start with the time before Jesus and discuss world events, and how religions were formed. Also a deep dive on "The Holy Land" and the broader middle east. Then up to the current day and the status of Christians in various parts of the world. And what about Gen Z and Gen Alpha? are they coming toward our universal church or declaring it irrelevant?Hope you join in and share your knowledge and perspectives. -
Bible Study
Coordinator: Deb Petersen Bryant [email protected]Our study focuses on the Word of God, helping us discover the Bible’s relevance to our daily lives. Through Scripture, we are inspired, strengthened in faith, and drawn closer to God.
The St. Joseph Bible Study Group meets in the St. Anthony Room from 10:15–11:45 a.m. on most Sundays, September through May (except Hospitality Sundays). Our study follows the Come and See study guide series.
For the 2026–2027 year, our study is The Gospel of John.

Pre Baptism Preparation - Mission Church of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP)
Coordinator: Bob Lamvik - [email protected] Baptism preparation for children 7 yrs and younger can be scheduled on an as-needed basis. It will be 2 - 1 hour sessions for parents and 1 - 1hour session for godparents. Forms (available in SVdP office) must be completed prior to scheduling. Upon completion Baptism can be scheduled through Parish Office. -
