Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudate Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching, our mission is to lead, educate and act toward the care of our common home and the human family that lives on it. 
 
We sponsor four SWAP meets each year, encourage participation in the ecumenical Season of Creation, September 1 – October 4 each year, and study the encyclicals and World Day of Prayer messages of the Popes from Leo XIII to Leo XIV.

St. Joseph's Helping Hands Ministry embodies the many ways we share God's grace to others in need.  We provide and serve breakfast meals to our poor neighbors at Sacramento Loaves and Fishes @ Friendship Park.  We support the operation of both local and international entities who cater to the needs of the poor.

The St Vincent de Paul Society, St Joseph Elk Grove Conference is a catholic voluntary organization of lay people, men and women who follow Christ through service to those in need regardless of religion, gender, ethnic or social background. We help our neighbors who have experienced financial hardship and unforeseen financial emergencies. We conduct home visitation and provide assistance with food, clothing, rent, utilities and furniture in these zip codes: 95624,95683, 95693, 95828, 95829 and 95830. 

Our ministry serve lunch at Loaves & Fishes every 3rd Friday and work at the Elk Grove Food Bank on 1st Thursday of every month, Convalescent Home Visits, Hospitality Sunday, School & Other Supplies Drive for  homeless students at Mustard Seed School.  

We meet on the 1st Thursday of the month at 4pm in the Renwald Room. We invite you to join our ministry on helping the poor in our parish community.

The St. Joseph's Gabriel Project provides confidential, compassionate outreach to pregnant women and their families facing hardships by offering emotional, spiritual and practical support at no cost.  We are supported by local parish communities, we empower women's choice for life through conhsistent friendship, prayer  and connection to vital community resources.  always inspired by the Word and example of Jesus Christ, offers immediate and practical assistance to pregnant women and their families.
